Our article Field Demonstration of a Passive Phase and Polarization Stabilization Architecture for Sagnac Twin-Field QKD together with collaborators in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering.

The course TSIT11 Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Information was accepted to participate in the qBraid QUEST programme. This is an excellent opportunity to develop quantum computing software labs, as was requested in the evaluations from last year. Expect next year to include QC labs running on real quantum hardware!

I will be visiting University of Concepción (UdeC), Chile, in August-September to work together with the groups of Gabriel Saavedra and Gustavo Lima.

This years' edition of TSIT11 Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Information has successfully finished with the following grade distribution (U: 5, 3: 5, 4: 5, 5: 3). Next year I would like to incorporate more computer labs, either in Qiskit, Q#, or QASM, seeing as industry seems to be looking for experience with these framworks. Adding this without necessarily increasing the workload on the students might be a challenge though.

Our high-school students' project on quadrature interferometric microphones for remote audio sensing won the regional semi-finals in the science competition Unga Forskare and are sent to the national finals.

I'm have been appointed the examiner for TSIT11 Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Information starting in April. Looking forward to receiving the class of 2026.

I will be attending the CEF-funded cross-border QKD-project NordicQCI kick-off, where I am giving a talk on lessons learnt when deploying long-distance QKD. See you there!

Our proposal Deep Learning-based RF side channel detection in commercial quantum key distribution systems, (NAISS 2026/4-341) was granted time on the Alvis supercomputer at C3SE. In the joint project with Sectra Communications, we investigate the hypothesis that Deep Learning methods can aid in near-field side-channel attack detection, when there is limited access to ground-truth data for supervised learning.

We are organizing the second workshop in the Vinnova-funded Quantum Secure Sweden Excellence cluster. The workshop is held at Linköping University on February 25th, Zenit-building.

Our paper on semi-device-independence through wave-particle experiments together with colleagues in Gdansk was published in npj Quantum Information.
