About

I'm a PhD in Electrical Engineering (Quantum Information) (M.Sc. civilingenjör) and cybersecurity enthusiast. I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at Linköping University, working on quantum communication and quantum randomness.

I started my academic career in computer science and engineering focusing on security and secure systems, but during my master's thesis project I got interested in quantum information and quantum communication, and I've been working in that field ever since. My background in computer science and engineering has come to be a great asset in my research, where I take a special interest in test & measurement automation, instrumentation, and engineering 'nice' solutions for practical lab challenges.

Outside the lab

Apart from being an academic researcher, I'm a keen alpine skier during the long Swedish winters, and enjoy the occasional summertime tennis match.

When forced indoors, I'm an electronics enthusiast that always has a project to tinker with. Following the latest news in cybersecurity and contributing to the maker-community occupies much of my spare time.
